Opinions Galore

In times like these, when we MBA's are finding it tough to get jobs, there is always a steady stream of advice coming from friends, family, profs and anyone who is better off.

Following are actual advices given by distinguished people in society:

Advice 1: "If I were you, I would remove the MBA part in my resume and show my
Technical certifications instead."
Advice 2: "Why don't you apply to PhD na....my son did that 5 years back and is now a
Prof in some University there, happily married with 1 big house,
1 beautiful wife and 2 dogs."
Advice 3: "Entrepreneurship is fine, but who will give u money ?"
Advice 4: "I told you MBA is a big waste of time. Look at me...no MBA and am earning
more than what you can only dream of now."
Advice 5: "I think your resume needs some major improvement."
Advice 6: "Take any job, big or small."
Advice 7: "My cousin in US says it would take 3 years for things to recover. what do u plan till then...have u thought about it ?"
and so it continues..

I am not trying to ridicule any of the advice above, but its just amazing what all we MBA's have to put through at times like these.
