I am debating on whether I should retake my GMAT.
Initially I thought anything over 700 was good enough . But now I wonder if 750+ is more the norm these days. I am getting contradictory opinions. Most favour NOT retaking my GMAT saying that the score by itself is good enough and I should focus more on preparing my essays and recos.I kind of agree with this thought. After all, I saw plenty of 750+ scores and even if I do manage to get (or dream) 760, I would still be left fighting with plenty of folks with similar profiles (IT+Indian Male+750+ GMAT ).
On the other hand, the GMAT is probably the only "quantitative" measure in the application process and I wonder if getting a few more points would help in strengthening my application. Also one of my friends got my exact score and didn't get admitted to any of the Top15 schools he applied and settled for one just below.
Hmm! I wonder.

Is my GMAT enough ?
